Conscious sedation is a combination of medicine to help you relax and to block pain during a medical or dental treatment. It is a more relaxing way of having oral surgery done. Sedation provides an alternative to general anaesthesia, especially in children that requires a lot of dental treatment or that has special needs.

DENTAL IMPLANTS
A dental implant is a titanium “root” which is placed in the jaw bone in the position of the missing natural tooth.
After the bone around the implant has healed (integrated), a crown is attached (placed on the implant) which will then resemble a natural tooth.
We can also replace several missing teeth with dental implants by using implant supported bridges and dentures.
Implants are surgically inserted in a minimal invasive procedure under local anaesthesia or under conscious sedation in the surgery.
In more complicated cases, we work in partnership with a periodontist or maxilla facial surgeon.
