Dr. Gideon van Tonder earned his Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of Stellenbosch. After completing his community service in the Limpopo Province, he returned to his roots in the Western Cape, where he established his dental practice in Somerset West. He and his team have recently opened their additional practice in Paarl.

Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Dr. van Tonder excels as a dental surgeon, artist, and perfectionist, ensuring the best results for his patients. His deep spirituality and faith form the foundation of his practice, and he is recognised for his warmth, kindness, and exceptional rapport with children.

Jeanine, his wife and oral hygienist greets patients with a beautiful smile, care, and compassion. She is affectionately known as the “tooth fairy” through their outreach programs aimed at today’s youth. The first friendly face at the practice is receptionist Lee Anne Hendricks, who handles check-ins, payments, medical aid matters, and future bookings. Dr. van Tonder is assisted by Nangoxolo Nyeka, a professional who helps patients feel valued and at home.
